The surreal, short video Bath bomb heart considers the tensions between the comfort of repetition and the controlling forces of habit. Each palm-sized heart is a functional bath bomb and the collection is locked away in a cabinet. When it is opened, they are stroked and arranged by a gloved hand before one is selected, weighed on an exfoliation pad, and dropped into the water. A heart dissolves, the cabinet remains full.
